Insects are a wildly varied class of pest — some are simply a nuisance (cluster flies hibernating in your loft), some are a health risk (cockroaches in a kitchen), some carry serious financial cost (clothes moths in a stockroom). The treatment varies for each, but the standard doesn't: BPCA-qualified technicians, COSHH-controlled products, written records.

Wasps & hornets

The most common summer call. Most wasp nests are in roof voids, under tiles, in shed roofs or in air bricks. One treatment, same day, £75–£95 inclusive across most of our area. Free advice over the phone — if it's a honey bee or a solitary species, we'll tell you and put you in touch with a local beekeeper instead.

Bedbugs

The number-one growing UK pest. Treatment requires a thorough survey first — identifying every harbourage — then a programmed heat or chemical treatment with two follow-ups. We work with hotels, B&Bs and private clients across Cumbria.

Cockroaches

Largely commercial — German cockroaches in food sites are the most common. Treatment is gel bait based with monitoring stations; HACCP-compatible reporting at every visit.

Fleas, cluster flies, ants, moths, beetles

All handled in-house. Standard treatment, written report, free follow-up where appropriate.

Electronic fly killers

Supply, install and service electronic fly control units (EFKs) for food production, butchers, takeaways and other catering businesses — including tube changes, glue board replacement and HACCP records.
